Based on my philosophy, it may seem a bit in congruent that I’ve chosen to teach a supplement based weight loss clinic. But, this picture tells the whole tale. As does my first “guinea pig” (my husband) who has lost over 90 pounds. For some people, just losing weight will help them be able to start on the path toward their ultimate health.
So, yes, I’m not a big fan of supplementation but it does have it’s purpose and place in a well designed plan. No, there is no magic pill that will make weight vanish. Fat doesn’t appear overnight and it’s not going to disappear overnight. And, quick weight loss can be devastating to your body as well as leave someone (although thinner), not looking fantastic due to sagging skin. But, a few products have shown to help raise metabolism, clear the liver of toxins, and support the adrenal glands during this type of lifestyle change.
Next, I’m a big proponent of individual assistance to help people reach their personal goals. For many people that individual support and accountability is very helpful. But, for others, the safety and support of a group is more appealing. Plus, groups help diminish the expense making it more affordable to everyone.
Finally, I’ve said it a million times, get healthy and the weight will take care of itself. I still believe this! Yet, some people are focused only on their weight because that is what they see first. I can’t deny this thought process or their feelings. It’s no fun when you can’t live the life you want because of your weight. This program, although designed for weight loss, will help people better understand their health (you didn’t think I’d stray too far did you?). That understanding will give people the tools to take control of their weight and ultimately their health.
This introduction will help those who have lost their direction. Yes, it uses some “tricks” of supplementation to help stabilize blood sugar and increase metabolism. But, there is still hard work for participants in learning to make truly healthy choices, eat with the path of the sun, eat for fuel, and eat quality foods including fat. They will experience increased energy, better sleep, improved complexions, decreased allergic reactions, improved digestion, and much more, without counting calories, purchasing boxed foods, or counting points. Real food doesn’t have to be intimidating; it should be delicious.
This program will help any one improve their health, longevity, and quality of life while feeling better because they look their best. It also integrates requests for snack shakes, weight loss, and group support. Ultimately, I don’t think it’s in congruent, I think it’s just another arsenal in my bag to help people find their path. This is only the start of the journey toward managing weight, improving overall appearance, and helping people look and feel their best.
