This a super quick and easy recipe for Almond Bars. Make extra and keep them in the refrigerator for a fast burst of energy or when you’re craving a bit of sweet.
Ingredients for almond bar recipe:
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 Tbsp ginger root
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 TBS raw honey
- ½ scoop protein powder
Directions almond bar recipe:
- Grind all ingredients, except for honey, in a food processor until fairly fine but still having some texture (you don’t want it to have the consistency of peanut butter).
- Add honey and process just long enough for it to blend.
- Press into a square about ¾ inch thick on a plate or square pan and refrigerate for about an hour or more.
- Cut into 2 inch squares
