Okay – maybe he just said my paleo question was idiotic . . .
I was fortunate enough to visit with Dr. Loren Cordain, the world’s leading expert on the Paleo Diet and founder of the paleo movement recently on Eat Well to Live Well with Kellie Hill.
I wanted to know about paleo recipes and making substitutions – that’s when Dr. Cordain really explained the craziness of substitutions on the paleo diet.
The full episode will air this next Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific on Voice America’s Health and Wellness Channel. If you miss the show, find it here on my website or in iTunes.
It’s pretty confusing, as most nutrition information tends to be, because the paleo diet is different depending on who you follow. So, I didn’t know what was really the paleo diet and paleo recipes and what was just some people’s ideas. So, I asked the question that made Dr. Cordain kind-of call it idiotic. It’s okay, I can take it in order to really learn the truth. Here’s a clip from the show:
More Paleo to Come
This was truly fun interview so mark your calendars for the full show this coming Monday!
It was amazing to have the opportunity to really understand the paleo diet from the man who researched paleolithic diets for more than 20 years and who has written the leading reports (not to mention a number of highly regarded, best selling books). I was able to ask THE Paleo expert all the questions that bother me when I hear different people talk about the paleo diet / some include dairy, sweeteners, starch vegetables, even some grains . . . it can make the real paleo diet confusing. Dr. Loren Cordain cleared up all the questions for all my listeners. I can’t say “thanks” enough.
Don’t miss out / join me this Monday so you can learn what is the paleo diet?
