I can’t believe the first segment of Eat Well to Live Well with Kellie Hill aired this week on Voice America. Most of an hour spent introducing myself and my philosophy regarding nutrition advice. It’s all a bit surreal still.
If you are new to my site, please feel free to learn even more about me in a four part series with fun (?) photos. Talk about full disclosure at it’s best!
Nutrition Advice Eat Well to Live Well with Kellie Hill
I’m so honored though to be able to offer my nutrition advice to a different audience with Voice America. And, we have some very exciting shows planned. Next week, I’ll explain why not all nutrition advice works for everyone. The timing for this show couldn’t be better. This week’s forum discussion was a reader questioning why her husband was so successful on the Paleo diet while she was not. It’s tough to follow nutrition advice from friends, magazines, or celebrities because all plans usually work for someone – it just may not be you.
There’s a lot of confusing nutrition advice out there. Sometimes I have to tell clients that I want them to follow one path right now and that I’m going to contradict that nutrition advice later. This is because so much depends on bio-individuality of each person. There is no one-size-fits-all nutrition advice. Understanding the body’s dominant gland is still the best starting point in my opinion . Then, taking into account the desired goals and trying to balance the body defines which nutrition advice to follow.
Yes, nutrition advice really is complicated.
Nutrition Advice for Free
It’s taken me years of training and experience to understand nutrition advice. So, I identify with people when they want to throw their hands up or give up because there is so much conflicting nutrition advice available. It can be overwhelming and frustrating. Which is why I’m so excited to be able to offer nutrition advice for free with Eat Well to Live Well with Kellie Hill every Monday at 2:00 p.m. on Voice America internet radio.
A client told me a few years ago that she thought the best thing I could do was duplicate myself so I could reach more people with my nutrition advice. Radio isn’t duplication but it’s certainly a great opportunity to spread my nutrition advice for free.
Hopefully you’ll join me each week for nutrition advice in this new format.
