Miso – From An Expert
I’ve written about tofu and soy products before – read here. But there are a few soy products that, if you really like them, go ahead and enjoy. Miso, pronounced mee-so, is one of these products.
There are a few caveats though:
- Make sure you are purchasing organic, GMO free miso products. You don’t want Round-up Ready soybeans in your miso.
- Find miso in glass jars. This ensures no BPA problems.
- Look for a traditional fermentation of the miso.
