“Diets” Are All About Balance
Watching women deprive themselves and then binge breaks my heart. Here’s why I want you to eat dessert.
Balance Makes Dessert Safe
Okay, this picture might be a little over-the-top, but it’s a great example (although perhaps better with clothing on). When you really break down this picture, look what she has for dessert – four strawberries and probably about an once and a half of dark chocolate. No diets should be outlawing this!
Plus she is REALLY focusing on that dessert. There are no distractions, only the sight, smell, and anticipation of the dessert. Hopefully when she takes the first bite she will savor the taste and texture as well because no other bite will ever be as satisfying as the first bite.
Truthfully, if she followed those instructions, she is going to have a wonderful experience and really enjoy her dessert. When our bodies are in balance and we are focusing on our foods, this small dessert will be enough and very satisfying.

All this contradictory information is confusing. No woman should be depriving herself of the joy of eating. No woman should have to run off from a fun dinner for fear of chocolate cake. Dessert doesn’t have that kind of power – or at least it shouldn’t! And it doesn’t matter if you are on diets or not . . . life is made for living, and living includes eating.
