The signs of heart attack for different for men and women. Unfortunately many women don’t recognize the signs of heart attack. This may be one of the reasons 1 in 3 women are dying of heart disease.
My friend Jan Rose Distel has a mission to change inform and empower women, especially those in the second half of their lives. As part of her mission she created Age with Attitude TV to offer the information women were looking for . . . and we’re not talking comfortable shoes or knitting lessons (not that I’m against either!), we’re talking the fun stuff that women who want to age with attitude are interested in – money, fitness, metabolism, mindset, and so much more.
Although I’m not quite in the second half of my life – although many days, with everything I’ve gone through, I feel like I’m well into the second half – my experiences are very similar to someone older. So, beginning to age as I am, full of attitude, and definitely knowing the signs of heart attack, Jan reached out and asked me to be a guest on her who Age with Attitude TV.

Remember, for women, the signs of heart attack may be different than a traditional heart attack.
Stand your ground if you recognize the signs of heart attack – you know your body best!
If there are any risk factors you can remove in your life – do it!
Finally, a quick acronym to help you recognize the signs of heart attack:
H – hot and cold sweats
E – exhaustion
A – aches and pains, especially in the jaw, neck, upper back or shoulders
R – feeling like your going to retch
T – trouble breathing
Any question – call 911 – don’t wait!
