More Room Needed for Weight Loss Questions
In the first blog I started answering weight loss questions and giving weight loss tips because I was really close to wrapping up the long-awaited Eat Right for Life Plan.
Still working on it – still releasing the Plan in early September. Easy, permanent weight loss without pills, boxed foods, nasty shakes, expensive supplements are right around the corner. You’ll learn how to lose weight by finding the right foods for you and using great weight loss tips.
But before I finalize everything and send it off to the technical magicians that will make it available, I need to make sure I have covered everything. So, I asked people to take a few minutes to let me know what their top two questions about weight loss are that I absolutely NEED to answer in the Eat Right for Life Plan.
Wow, the response has been amazing! Thank you so much for helping me out so I can help others learn how to lose weight. The Eat Right for Life Plan is improving every single day thanks to your responses.
I started adding a weight loss question and answer every day to the previous post but people sent me notes saying they’d like to quickly see all the weight loss questions as I’m answering them – i.e. titles. So, if the answer is long enough, I’ll make a new post every day. Hopefully you’ll continue to learn more about easy, sustainable, permanent weight loss. Lots of great information on how to lose weight and some fun weight loss tips.

Weight Loss Questions Answered:
Why is it so hard to lose weight, or even maintain weight, even when I exercise hard and regularly, after age 40?
I’m not going to sugar coat it, as we age it can be more difficult because there are many biological components that start to happen after age 40. The biggest is that our metabolism slows down by as much as 25%. Plus, muscle tone decreases, fat aggregates around the abdomen and hips, all while our hormones are in flux as perimenopause begins.
Understanding how your body derives its energy so you are eating to support the body is an important first step. As hormones change, where the body creates energy may change also, which means creating different meals plans for weight loss. The metabolism can be kick-started to help with weight loss. Movement becomes more critical in order to increase metabolism and burn calories.
Unfortunately most women start skipping meals or trying juice cleanses to remove the unwanted weight. This actually has the reverse effect; the body identifies this as starvation and shuts down the metabolism.
But, it’s not all bad news. As we age estrogen levels drop and testosterone become more prominent so getting in shape can actually be easier. Add plenty of rest so you’re ready to get moving and aren’t too tired to make good eating choices. Plus a metabolism jumpstart meal plan to increase your energy and you’ll be combating Mother Nature in no time.
